"The only true voyage of discovery...would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes." Marcel Proust
Darlene's paraphrase ~ What really matters is how you choose to see the world around you, rather than thinking you must actually be somewhere else, in order to have an experience.
No matter what your financial situation is...
If you're in the house of your dreams or not...
If your life has turned out as you expected it would...
circumstances don't have to negatively provoke how you feel about your life.
What are the condition of your eyes...
How do you choose to see your world...
What blessings are you counting...
How do you choose to see your world...
What blessings are you counting...
this message was for me today :)

this is so true.
reminds me to write in my gratitude journal. that always makes me see things different, or see beautiful things that i haven't noticed before.

I LOVE that quote. Wow! Don't think I'd seen that one before and it's so try.
I wanted you to know, I gave you an award on my blog today.

A lovely message indeed! Congrats on your award from Deb :)
Beautifully said, my dear one.
I was thinking about the year I sat under you teaching, and how I miss that.....but now I have your wisdom on the blog...so I will choose to see that as my blessing now.
How I love and miss you.

So very well put gypsy girl!
love your new space... you are so right it's how we view our world and how God blesses us that makes all the difference.
Sometimes we fail to see the littlest blessings because we are looking at what's wrong instead.
Thanks for this special reminder.
Great to see such exciting energy from you Darlene. Best of luck creating the new you.
Ahh, I needed this, sometimes- well, lately, I've been viewing my world as lacking- especially financially,lol- but all in good time. :) Thanks for the reminder. xo
beautiful, wise words. thank you for the reminder.
Promises to see it better are the best ones you make to yourself.
I've often said you can choose to see the world as it is, or you can choose to see the world full of promise. For me and my house, we choose promise.
Oh I agree completely. God has blessed me with eyes that almost always see the glass half full.
