calling all stars

Had a visit with my wonderful family doctor yesterday, let's call it a routine physical and we found a lump. So, he scheduled a mammogram for Friday morning. The results will be in next week. I appreciate his efficiency and the fact that I won't have to wait too long to find out just what is going on.

I am smiling and hopeful for a positive outcome and am asking you for some warm fuzzies to keep the blessings flowing. What a wonderful World we live in that I can even ask for this kind of support...ahhh the closeness of our blogging community.

Thanks so much...I can already feel the love :)

Prayers are continually coming your way. It is the least we can do. It is also the easiest thing we can do.

Oh no...the comment I posted awhile ago went pffft...snooks!

Anywhoo, I said, this is about the most sensible thing I have read for quite some time. So simply written but so powerfully said.

I needed needed needed to hear this...you are such a treasure because no one could have this ti me with such forceful tenderness but you.

I had been seriously questioning myself..asking what exactly have I one with my life...how successful am I really?...I come up with only one answer..sadly, it is "not much"..Not much has been doen...not much has been accomplished...cooompared to all the other ladies I hang out with. No bg fund raising charity sponsorships I head..no big time corporate name...no Bali travels...no Rocky Mountain getaways ( my best friend is there now)..no Las Vegas trips ( my cousin is there now)..drats..nothing of the trappings that are deemed measures of "success" over here.

What I have is a lemon tree in the backyard from where I get my morning juice...

Then again..it is a nice tree..and I have a mango tree as well...with chirping birds...and I have an orchid plant...and I have a poodle..and the love one man..and two loving teenage boys with weird hairstyles..and I get to paint in the afternoons..and I get to speak to an audience once in a while..and I get to sip good coffee at a darling cafe once in a while..and I had pomodoro for lunch plus a glass of mint tea....And I an smile often..specially when I read whatever it is you write so daintily:>
