what August 3rd means to me...

It is this girl's birthday on Sunday and I can't believe that she is turning 24. She gave me loads of trouble on the day that she arrived. My labour started with a bang and within moments I was prepped for surgery. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and foot and with each contraction we would loose her heartbeat.

Now, I can proudly say that she is my heartbeat, my best friend and the smell that I long for the most. She came into the world as beautiful then as she is today and forever will be.

We will all gather on that day to celebrate her and every accomplishment she has made. Who is she...?

She is Angela...Momma's baby girl...

and the sunshine of my life.

Aww, Darlene- she is a stunning young lady- I just saw some of her photos with Denise and words fail me... that pretty. It's not just the physical beauty, though- she has a soulfulness that is there- you must know what I mean. Congratulations proud mama and enjoy her birthday- blessings to you both!

Darlene, she is so beautiful and I want to wish her a happy birthday today. Just happened to stop by on my way from Wanda's and glad I did so on the right day!

Everytime I see someone's daughter, I want to say, you lucky dog you!!! ...having all sons, I do miss that imagined energy emotional connection between a mom and her daughter.

Simply Beautiful... both of you.

I know the story behind the day she was born and to hear/read it again absolutely floors me. It just amazes me how 25 days later I went through the very same thing with my son. To think that we were pregnant at the same time and well... you know the rest my sweets. I am shaking my head... amazing!

I love you ~ my frister

Hoping that you enjoy your day with her and your family.
I know that you will be soaking it all in. I know it will be just lovely!

Whew! That is one gorgeous girl you have there! She takes after her mama in that. And I have no doubt her beauty is all encompassing - not just on the outside. Just like mama.
