Looking into Cedar's eyes is almost a spiritual experience. He is so aware and sensitive to his surroundings, I knew he was trying to tell me something.
We had connected and exchanged many smiles and stories.
Then one evening Boho Boy handed Cedar over to me and said, "Go to your Auntie dd" and my heart jumped. That was the name I would be given and now called for many years to come.
I am auntie dd

What a fun name. I got to pick the name my grandchildren called me. I loved that idea. I picked Mamaw because the good one: Gran, Gran was already taken!
dd is such a great name.
Our oldest daughter is expecting her first child, a boy, in late April.
It has been suggested by our French friends that we be called Opa and Oma. We're not too sure yet. We will have to see what he will say. Thank goodness it will be a while for that.
I bet you are planning for your next visit with Cedar. Thanks for the photos.
Oh how cool! Cedar is BEAUTIFUL!!! But then you already know that. ;)
